It’s been so long since my last update! With the exception of my private post of course, but that one was angsty 
And password locked! So really it was no good to anyone.
Recently I moved into my first apartment though! And I have my first very own bathroom!

It’s a lot bigger than my dorm room and much easier to live in! Plus my roommates have been nice so far

It’s pretty spacious, I wish it came with a desk though! For now I just use my laptop on my bed and keep my printer and books on the chest of drawers.

The closet gets a thumbs up from me – wayyy more room for my shoes and clothes in this one! Five points to anyone who can guess what show I was watching

And the bathroom! I never thought I’d be so excited about a bathroom but apparently having one all to myself makes me extremely pleased. I love all the counter space

I really have so many hair and face products, trust me that isn’t even the half of it!

The Shiseido pureness facial care set with cleanser, toner and lotion. I also invested in the face scrubbing brush!

Hopefully the set works well since it was a little pricey 
I think Shiseido is more simple than other more chemical facial washes so it should turn out well.

I want to start adding more to the dollmaker soon – I haven’t really updated it in awhile. College has been busy lately though now that the year is coming to an end I had a math exam yesterday that was absolutely awful, math is my worst subject for sure. I found out I was accepted to the college I want to transfer to though, so I’ve just been setting that up in case the Japan internship doesn’t happen this fall. I have to plan for either outcome, but I’m really hoping I get the internship and spend fall semester in Japan 
Also I need to book a plane ticket for this summer so I can fly to the summer camp I’ll be working at from June-August. There’s so much going on 
I received my Liz Lisa spring/summer denim skirt in the mail yesterday though and that cheered me up. It’s so cute! 
I can’t wait to coordinate it, I think it can go with pretty much anything really.

I feel like now I have enough of the ‘essential’ pieces from Liz Lisa that I can just add American brands into the mix but still have a sort of Liz Lisa look. I mean I’d love to have the whole spring/summer collection but that is definitely not possible

This week I bought myself some tulips. Tulips are probably my favorite flower, and since I don’t have a special Valentine this year I took it upon myself.
The vase was about $2.00 and I tied the bow on myself so they were an inexpensive day brightener! I’d love to be able to have fresh flowers all the time buuut that’s not very probable.
I sent in my application to a different university today. I have a pretty good GPA so I don’t know why I wouldn’t get accepted, but I’m keeping my fingers crossed just in case! I would be pretty disappointed if I had to stay at my current university for two more years. The one I’m applying to is right in the city and I’m sure I would have a better time there. My current university is fine, and I do like the campus, but it’s way more small town than I expected and 2 hours away from anything.
I met with my academic adviser today and decided that I’ll be majoring in International Business rather than just Business Administration. It wasn’t the easiest decision, considering that now I’ll be graduating in 2012 rather than my scheduled year of 2011, but I feel that it’s for the best. The reason for such a delayed graduation is the fact that I’m required to take two years of language for the major. I’ve already taken a semester of Chinese, but I’d like to switch over to Japanese since two years of it seems more bearable. I’m also going to look into interning in Japan this summer in order to receive some experience credit so wish me luck with that!
The new layout is coming along pretty well, but I’m still not satisfied with it. It also has a lot of height so I’m going to have to cut down on that in order for the banner to not take up the whole page. I’m dedicating tomorrow to working on pixel commissions though since those need to be finished!
Last thing, I’d really like to enable a comment system on my website but I’m not too familiar with cutenews/wordpress/etc. I’m looking for a better FTP program too so if anyone could suggest something or has any tips I would really appreciate it! I would also be willing to offer some custom pixels/illustrations in exchange for help. You can email me or post on the tag board~
I’m sorry to have skipped yesterday’s update! It was the first day of the new semester so I was running around campus pretty much all day. I’m also trying to work out at least 30min – 1 hour a day so even during my free time I wasn’t able to relax. Today has, so far, gone much more smoothly though, with the exception of my textbooks still not being available at the bookstore. I’m going to have to check in again today to see if I can pick them up.
I’m also working on a new layout, and I have some pixel commissions to finish, so instead of drawing up new content I’ve been putting all my time into those things. I’d like to add some new content though so what would everyone like to see more of? Dollmaker items? Adoptables? Brand new content/pages?
At least my Sephora order came yesterday and so I had fun with the palette this morning.
Happy 2010 everyone! I hope everyone had a good time last night. I ended up staying awake until around 2AM with family to watch the ball drop on TV. I wish I could have been in Times Square for it! One year I hope to go. Yesterday I didn’t really have any resolutions or goals for 2010 but after thinking about it for awhile I’ve come up with some.
Goals/Resolutions
No lower than A’s or B’s in my 2010 spring and fall courses.
Study abroad in London for summer semester.
Learn to walk in heels.
Start taking Japanese.
Start dressing more Gal for spring and summer.
No eating after 9PM.
Don’t keep junk food around/easily accessible.
Give my online shop an overhaul.
Get a better oncampus job.
Raise GPA from 3.35 to 3.5
I might add to my list as I think about it more. What resolutions and goals do you have for 2010?
My break is ending soon (I’ll be driving back on the 7th), but I’m kind of excited to get back to school and start new classes. I’m taking a few business courses this semester and so I’m looking forward to them. Luckily I really love my major so I usually enjoy the required courses. Math isn’t my favorite though, and unfortunately I’ll have to take a math course pretty much every semester until I graduate. This semester is no exception. I think I’ll have fun in my international economics course though, and maybe my humanities course. I just need to make sure I do my best since I’d really like to achieve my goal of a 3.5 GPA this year.
