Has it really been two weeks since my last update :!? I guess I’ve been busier than usual lately! That tends to happen towards the end of the year/semester. I’m sure that when the year ends I’ll be back to updating regularly :lobe The seminar for my possible internship in Japan is coming up fast! It’s on May first. I need to make sure I get all my documents in before then. Also need to get a new iPhone case as I lost my Rilakkuma one recently when I dropped my phone at a dance :brella I’m thinking of replacing it since the Rilakkuma cases are now available on eBay, or I might get this cute Juicy Couture one~

For now my iPhone doesn’t have a case, but considering that I could have lost the phone as well it makes me happy to at least still have my iPhone :dan

There’s currently a Beauty Insider 15% off your entire order sale going on at Sephora for anyone who didn’t already know about it! :wand The promo code for it is MADNESS and it ends tomorrow. I was seriously considering some of the cute new tokidoki collab items Sephora has up for sale but decided not to buy.

I finally did a bit of crafting over the weekend and here are the results!

I haven’t been feeling very creative lately but it was nice to do some work with clay after not having made anything for awhile. I have most of the rings above for sale as well as some Liz Lisa items and more at the link below :arr2

Sale time! Lots of handmade + Liz Lisa skirt and necklace ♥

Good luck with your internship in Japan! I can’t even begin to imagine what it would be like to go there. :)

The rings look super cute. Blue + pink look nice together. ^_^

Japan is amazing if you hadn’t already been.

The tokidoki makeup is actually really gorgeous!, it’s not really worth it to buy the pallet, but the lipgloss and the highlight is gorgeous. They are extremely high quality, if you use MAC the eyeshadows are about the quality of the veluxe pearl style mac ones, though the glitter shadows are average in comparison to to the more ‘pearl’ ones.

Also, I asked in your easter post, but maybe you didn’t see it. I was curious to know what host you used for you blog? I am looking for a new host for my own blog.

    Thanks!

    Victoria,
Thank you! I really hope it works out! And blue x pink is one of my favorite color combos too ♥

    Jessie,
I haven’t ever been so I’m excited about the possibility of going! And that’s good to know about the tokidoki collab line – sometimes the products just end up looking cute but the quality isn’t so great. I’m glad that isn’t the case!

And sorry about that, I must have missed your comment. I use JustHost :) It’s really affordable when you sign up for six or more months of hosting and you get unlimited space and more. Feel free to send me an email if you have any more questions about it!

Good luck with the seminar, I hope you’ll be accepted!! =D
Oh noes, bye bye Rilakkuma!! =( (are they cheaper on ebay?? =D)

The tokidoki things look totally awesome!! O_O *hug*

wish I could buy some things from your shop, unfortunately I’m broke T_T

Good luck with the seminar and have fun!

Oh no! You lost your iphone case. But Rilakkuma was so cute! The Juicy Couture one is nice too. Have you ever made your own iphone case? I’d like to see one. :)

The new rings are adorable! I love the color choice.

Hi do u get stuff from the liz lisa online store /shibuya 109 net shop? If so able to let me know how do u go about doing that?
    thanks!!

  • Jessie Says:

    Thanks!

And yeah, I have no sephora near me so I was a little afraid about ordering them. Luckily I got to test them out in store and they really exceeded my expectations.

You can check some reviews and look at a few colour swatches here: http://tinyurl.com/2euwe6u

And thanks for the info about the site host, I’m looking for something free, but that’s so difficult nowadays!

Is JustHost fairly easy to use? I noticed they have a sitebuilder but you use wordpress is that right?

  • Kat Says:

    Ellen,
Thanks, I really hope so too! I can’t believe the seminar is coming up so fast! But actually the Rilakkuma cases on eBay are about half the price I paid for mine so they’re looking pretty tempting~ The tokidoki things are too!
And I plan on doing a giveaway soon, with some handmade items, so look out for that ♥

    Catherine,
Thank you :D And I’m with you, I like both cases – I can’t decide! I’ve deco’d a few of my own before though, you can check them out here~

    Viv,
I use Celga to shop from Liz Lisa and their Shibuya 109 net shop. Their rates really aren’t bad and the staff is friendly and helpful! You can also check out my Japan Shops and Auctions page for more places to shop online.

    Jessie,
Thanks for linking me to that website! And JustHost is really easy to use if you already know how to operate FTP. I think that applies to pretty much all hosting though. Otherwise I think there is a site editor/builder in the control panel, but I’ve never really used those. I do use wordpress now anyways, and JustHost offers auto setup so that all you have to do is log in to your wordpress, set the theme and start adding entries!

No problem. I love the girl that owns that site, she’s super honest in all her reviews and always adds tons of pictures!

Awesome, that is good to know. The last time I used ftp was in high school years ago when we had to build websites and upload to geocities. I’m sure it’s not hard to figure it out, there’s probably tons of tutorials and help on the site reguardless.

I love all the little icons you use in your text. Did you make then yourself or did you find them somewhere?

  • Ellen Says:

    How was the seminar? =DD
(half the price? I’m going to save up all my money nao XD)

    yeay <3 ;)
