Probably doesn’t help that it’s always so cloudy outside! I can’t wait for the weather to start reflecting the season.
So I’ve been doing some crafting again recently! With even more sculpting! These new pieces were heavily influenced by crafts I see for sale on mbok and such

I almost forgot, I want to review a webshop I bought from recently! In addition to my usual MAC lashes, I’ve been looking for some cheaper lashes for days when I don’t feel like breaking out my #7’s. So I checked around and finally found out about Jcosme. At first I was a little scared to order from them since they don’t accept Paypal and I hadn’t really heard any reviews. But I decided to just go for it and order a bunch of the “Ethnic Beauty” style lashes. They also have “Gyaru Fashion” lashes that are cute and dramatic!

I ordered way too many though so I might sell off a few pairs! I loved ordering from Jcosme though, and they even sent me a bunch of cute nail stickers with my lash order, it was so sweet and unexpected!

Made another MAC order recently as well since I didn’t end up visiting their counter at Nordstrom when I was visiting home. And now that I’m back and taking summer courses (including yoga! but more about that later!) I won’t get the chance for awhile. I decided to order some eyeshadows in Woodwinked and Shroom and more #7 lashes. I seriously love #7’s

Okay this entry is getting long but I’ll update about progress on my Japan internship and more later! 
It’s been so long since my last update! With the exception of my private post of course, but that one was angsty 
And password locked! So really it was no good to anyone.
Recently I moved into my first apartment though! And I have my first very own bathroom!

It’s a lot bigger than my dorm room and much easier to live in! Plus my roommates have been nice so far

It’s pretty spacious, I wish it came with a desk though! For now I just use my laptop on my bed and keep my printer and books on the chest of drawers.

The closet gets a thumbs up from me – wayyy more room for my shoes and clothes in this one! Five points to anyone who can guess what show I was watching

And the bathroom! I never thought I’d be so excited about a bathroom but apparently having one all to myself makes me extremely pleased. I love all the counter space

I really have so many hair and face products, trust me that isn’t even the half of it!

The Shiseido pureness facial care set with cleanser, toner and lotion. I also invested in the face scrubbing brush!

Hopefully the set works well since it was a little pricey 
I think Shiseido is more simple than other more chemical facial washes so it should turn out well.

I want to start adding more to the dollmaker soon – I haven’t really updated it in awhile. College has been busy lately though now that the year is coming to an end I had a math exam yesterday that was absolutely awful, math is my worst subject for sure. I found out I was accepted to the college I want to transfer to though, so I’ve just been setting that up in case the Japan internship doesn’t happen this fall. I have to plan for either outcome, but I’m really hoping I get the internship and spend fall semester in Japan 
Also I need to book a plane ticket for this summer so I can fly to the summer camp I’ll be working at from June-August. There’s so much going on 
I received my Liz Lisa spring/summer denim skirt in the mail yesterday though and that cheered me up. It’s so cute! 
I can’t wait to coordinate it, I think it can go with pretty much anything really.

I feel like now I have enough of the ‘essential’ pieces from Liz Lisa that I can just add American brands into the mix but still have a sort of Liz Lisa look. I mean I’d love to have the whole spring/summer collection but that is definitely not possible

So I’m finally going home tomorrow The campus is dead now that everyone’s on break, and that makes me want to get home even more. I went for a walk around the campus today, since I live on campus and just wanted to get outside, and there was hardly anyone around. It was really unusual, I’ve never seen it so deserted Before I leave tomorrow I think I’ll take advantage of the situation and get some pictures of the campus while no one is around to crowd it~

I’m starting to use less ‘whip cream’ aka silicone in my crafts and doing more actual sculpting. When I started out I never used silicone and lately I realized I would like to get back to the artistic element of jewelry making Plus I really hate the fumes that silicone gives off as it’s drying. It’s fine when it’s dry but before that it’s not pleasant, to say the least!

Also made a necklace with a little bear as the cork I hand painted the face! I used E-6000 glue to keep the bear attached and I have to say, it’s the best glue I’ve ever used. It dries quick enough and when it’s dry it’s extremely strong! I’d definitely recommend it for crafting.
I’m thinking of selling this Tralala cutsew to help pay for my Celga shipping invoice~

So now that spring break has started, I’ll probably just laze around this weekend 
I need to tidy my room before I leave on Monday though. I hate coming back home to a mess! My dorm room is really tiny though so it shouldn’t take too long. What do you all have planned for spring break 
I just put up a new layout It’s much more simple than the older one but I like it~ I haven’t ever really added texture to any of my images but for this layout I decided to add a burlap texture to the header’s background and I love how it turned out! I’ll definitely be using textures for future projects.
Now that this layout is done I need to get started on a layout for my sister and her husband! They’re starting a business and so I offered to do the webdesigning for them. I guess we’ll see how well I can pull off a more ‘professional’ style of design
Only one more week until spring break I’m ridiculously excited for the break. I haven’t been home since mid January, which doesn’t sound like a long time, but it feels like it’s been forever. I think I got too used to all the breaks during November and December. And I just need a break from college after all the midterms. This next week is going to drag by I just know it. Note to self: before going home get all papers in order for internship in Japan! I want to get all the documents in asap!

Loveee this shirt, the print is adorable!
I’ve been admiring this necklace for awhile, and now it’s on sale. Even though it was sold during winter I think it will work well for spring!
This necklace was also on sale. I might take the ribbon off of it since I just wanted some strings of white pearls.
Next I’ll be getting a couple Liz Lisa onepieces and then I’ll call it quits for awhile haha.
I got some really exciting news today! I applied for an English teaching internship in Japan earlier last month and today I found out that I passed their resume process and qualify for a phone interview! I found out about the internship through my university, and it turns out they pay for a fully furnished apartment, internet access, and round-trip airfare. Plus the pay is about 90,000yen a month. Honestly just the experience would be amazing enough though. My appointment is set for Thursday, wish me luck!!
Is anyone else loving the new Valentine’s items on poupee?
The limited kitten items are my favorite so far. I bought two, in brown and purple! I probably would have bought pink too, but it sold out too quickly. There are also a lot of cute items in the jewel area but all my money is currently going towards my wardrobe.

This week I bought myself some tulips. Tulips are probably my favorite flower, and since I don’t have a special Valentine this year I took it upon myself.
The vase was about $2.00 and I tied the bow on myself so they were an inexpensive day brightener! I’d love to be able to have fresh flowers all the time buuut that’s not very probable.
I sent in my application to a different university today. I have a pretty good GPA so I don’t know why I wouldn’t get accepted, but I’m keeping my fingers crossed just in case! I would be pretty disappointed if I had to stay at my current university for two more years. The one I’m applying to is right in the city and I’m sure I would have a better time there. My current university is fine, and I do like the campus, but it’s way more small town than I expected and 2 hours away from anything.
Added a new hairstyle to the dollmaker today.
I also added some colored bows to the hair accessories section so that hairstyles with bows could be matched up with outfits better.
That’s about all for today, it’s been a busy one. I’ll probably be transferring colleges so I’ve been researching into that most of the day. Everything looks pretty promising though so here’s hoping it all goes well!

I met with my academic adviser today and decided that I’ll be majoring in International Business rather than just Business Administration. It wasn’t the easiest decision, considering that now I’ll be graduating in 2012 rather than my scheduled year of 2011, but I feel that it’s for the best. The reason for such a delayed graduation is the fact that I’m required to take two years of language for the major. I’ve already taken a semester of Chinese, but I’d like to switch over to Japanese since two years of it seems more bearable. I’m also going to look into interning in Japan this summer in order to receive some experience credit so wish me luck with that!
The new layout is coming along pretty well, but I’m still not satisfied with it. It also has a lot of height so I’m going to have to cut down on that in order for the banner to not take up the whole page. I’m dedicating tomorrow to working on pixel commissions though since those need to be finished!
Last thing, I’d really like to enable a comment system on my website but I’m not too familiar with cutenews/wordpress/etc. I’m looking for a better FTP program too so if anyone could suggest something or has any tips I would really appreciate it! I would also be willing to offer some custom pixels/illustrations in exchange for help. You can email me or post on the tag board~
